Everyone has carpet in their homes and no matter how hard we each may try to not spill on the carpet it always happens. Daryl Olsen, owner of Advantage Chem-Dry, shares how those tough red stains in your carpet can be removed and why they are so tough to get rid of.
Carpet gets died so that each carpet can have a unique color, drinks also get dyes added to them to make them more appealing and we all know that red dyes stain carpets and is almost impossible to completely get out without leaving some kind of residue. Chem-Dry has a process called red alert that can completely remove red stains from your carpet and leave the original color of your carpet behind. The red alert process is a chemically reactive oxidizer product that works at the molecular level to remove the red dye from the carpet. The red alert process works best with drinks that have red dyes that have been spilled on the carpet. The red alert process is slow and tedious, it takes time to make sure that all of the dye is out and there is no residue left but it is successful if done the right way.
It is not the end of the world if by accident a red drink is spilled onto your beautiful carpet, it can be removed and no one would ever know that there used to be a red stain there. Make sure you get professional help though right away so that the stain can be removed the right way and to keep your carpets clean.
